Some of you older folks may remember this one.
Wonder Bug was actually part of The Kroft Super Show (see below), yet another drug-induced show from the fabulous 70's. God, life was so awesome then. Check the high-tech flying abilities of Wonder Bug, and that cool, colorful thingamajig with the switches and stuff. Again, so awesome.
So, yeah, Wonder Bug was part of The Kroft Super Show, sort of a rock n roll Godspell that swapped religion for slapstick.

Oh, I do so wish I could remember more of the 1970s!
By the way, did you ever get The Goodies in the US? It was one of my favourite shows as a (pretty small) child and it's another wonderfully 1970s thing...
