You can look at me instead.
Anyhoo, I'm home, taking a vacation from my vacation in order that I might work instead. The fam and I went to Tahoe on Friday. The fam is still in Tahoe. I will rejoin them sometime on Friday. (apropos of nothing, I just discovered that my fly was down. How does that happen?) Yeah, so I'll shoot back up there on Friday, use a $50 gift cert for The Bridgetender lest it languish in my wallet until next summer, then return en-mass on Sunday. By the way, if anyone is going to North Shore on Friday and wants to give me a lift, that would be awesome, otherwise we'll have two cars up there. No pressure, but if you were hankerin' to do me a solid now is your chance.
So I left Tahoe at 8:30 this morning. Drove straight through (no potty breaks - man did I have to go wee wee bad) and got to "work" before noon. Afterward I had to pick up the dog, come home and go through mail and other "domestic-type" chores. I still need to go through various bags of crap gently-used items before Goodwill or Salvation Army or Save the Texas Prairie Chicken comes by tomorrow to pick it up.
That's what I'm doing. I don't know what you're doing. Feel free to let me know in the comments section.

I'm abstaining from alcohol. Not sure if the kids will make it out alive.

Going back home in two weeks. Will be on the beach with my high school friends. I am vain however very lazy. This is my way of losing the bloat!

These days I'm just waiting for "Cowboys and Aliens" to hit the theatres.

I'm pretending to still be "at work" (I work from home) but actually entertaining wonderful friends until my real holiday starts on 1 Aug. Oh, and I've been watching copious amounts of very crappy French TV (or US TV dubbed into French).

Kirsty - That's right, you Frenchies take most of August as "holiday." Is it the entire month? SO unfair.
