So I actually started a regular, part-time job today.
I'm working as a court reporter for an on-line legal news service. Each day I will go to the county courthouse records department, review all the new civil litigation, write a short summary for each, log the necessary info into a database, and upload complete copies of certain complaints. Not difficult, but there are lots of little particulars that must be adhered to. The nice part is that I can do much of it right on site, or from some local wifi spot. Or I could bring it all home, but I'm thinking it would be more productive to do it elsewhere. We'll see. The money sort of blows, but I need to do something before unemployment runs out, and it will look good on a resume. And I'll still be writing posts for Boots on the Roof in the mornings, so the hours are a good fit.
So there you go. Yea me.
