Tahoe - Mid-Week

Tahoe I'm sitting in the Washoe County Library at 3:15 PM on Thursday afternoon. I attempted to post this yesterday at the Placer County Library, but they were getting ready to close and I had an anxious librarian breathing down my sunburned neck.

We came into Reno today to visit Circus Circus. Nothing like spending a few hours in a smoke filled room in order to drop $20 on useless stuffed animals. We came by the library to take a photo of a librarian holding a copy of Jack Kerouac's On The Road for a photo scavenger hunt. Long story. Anyway, my time is short, hence a short post.

So it's a little past mid-week with the vacation more than half over. Damn but they do go quickly.  So far it's been an interesting week. There's been danger, drunkenness, open hostility, a death and a near death experience; just a little taste to whet your appetite for the official vacation recap post to come. Stay tuned...
