Take Advantage of our 0% Down, Blow-Out Sale! Or Else.
As if the loud, plaid sport coats and white shoes weren’t bad enough, now they’ve got machetes.
A 73-year old used car salesman, who apparently got into an altercation with a customer, “pulled out” (?) a machete and whacked the man on the arm. (Why does this remind me of Mr. Burns’ and his futile beatings of Smithers?)
Robert Parker, a salesman at Times Auto Sales in Tyler Texas, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. There is no information as to exactly what the argument was about.
This is just one more reason why I hate the whole car shopping experience. It’s bad enough that the car salesmen all cluster, shark-like near the showroom, watching as you step onto the lot. Before you can duck behind one of the SUV’s to browse unmolested, one of them breaks free from the pack, glides over and says,
“Can I help you find something today?”
Arrrrh! NO, just pull out your machete and put me out of my misery. Please!
